Phantom connects to your MCP-compatible assistant. Before you send a mix out, run a readiness check: loudness, phase correlation, dynamic range, reference comparison. Use the measurements alongside a careful listen.
Loudness targets for streaming platforms
Choose loudness and peak limits from your delivery brief. Playback normalization settings are separate from mastering requirements. Phantom's analyze_loudness tool measures integrated loudness, true peak, and LRA (loudness range). Use those numbers to check the render, then listen for distortion and changes in punch.
Compare against genre references
"I want it to sound like this." Every mastering session has that moment. Phantom's compare_to_reference does an A/B analysis against a specific track and shows you where your mix diverges and by how much. compare_to_profile does the same thing against genre-specific profiles when there's no single reference to pull from.
Check stereo width and phase correlation
A mix can sound great in headphones and fall apart on a mono club system. Phase issues that are inaudible in stereo get loud in mono. Phantom's analyze_stereo tool reports stereo width, mid/side balance, and phase correlation coefficient. Low or negative correlation is a reason to audition the mono sum and inspect the relevant tracks.
